ABOUT US

ABOUT US The people behind Campbell Creative. We bring different strengths, and that’s what makes the work better.

JAMES CAMPBELL

James’ career has never followed one perfectly straight line, and that’s become one of his biggest strengths. He started in the oil and gas industry before moving into retail, where he has spent nearly eight years at Target working across product development, vendor coordination, creative technology, photography, and 3D visualization.

His time at Target began on the product development side, working directly with vendors, design teams, and internal partners and learning how products move from an idea through development and into the hands of the customer. That work also gave him experience supporting high-profile designer and celebrity-led brand partnerships, where communication, presentation, and attention to detail carried an added level of visibility.

He later moved into Target’s Owned Brands 3D team, where the work became increasingly visual and technical. That has included photography and digital material creation, helping build Target’s first HQ denim studio for more accurate color matching, and using 360 photography and 3D visualization to help product teams realistically see how products would live in stores before they reached the floor.

Alongside his corporate experience, James has spent more than 20 years behind a camera and has built Campbell Creative across industries including beverage, CPG, outdoor, destination, and lifestyle. He also holds an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, allowing Campbell Creative to incorporate professional drone photography and video when a project calls for a different perspective.

That combination of product knowledge, creative experience, and time spent inside a Fortune 50 company shapes how he works with brands today. He understands that good creative has to do more than look good. It has to work for the people building the product, the team marketing it, and ultimately the customer on the other side.

JACKI CAMPBELL

Jacki brings more than 15 years of hands-on business experience to Campbell Creative, shaped by helping run and grow her family’s business across nearly every part of its day-to-day operation.

Her experience spans hiring, payroll, invoicing, customer communication, operations, business strategy, and long-term decision-making. She also played a key role through the acquisition of the business by a new owner, helping keep operations, communication, and the customer experience moving smoothly through a major transition.

That background has given Jacki a practical understanding of what it takes to keep a business organized, solve problems quickly, take care of customers, and think beyond the immediate task at hand.

At Campbell Creative, she brings that same perspective to the work. Jacki plays a major role behind the scenes, helping organize projects, keep communication and timelines on track, and make sure the details don’t get lost as work moves from idea to execution. She is also closely involved in brainstorming and idea generation, bringing another perspective to content concepts, creative direction, and how we approach the brands we work with.

And organization isn’t something she turns off when the workday ends. Jacki is the kind of person who can turn a trip into a perfectly mapped-out itinerary, a skill that says a lot about how she approaches projects too: think ahead, keep the details straight, and make the experience feel seamless.

Her strengths complement James’ in a way that has become an important part of Campbell Creative: combining creative thinking with the organization, communication, and business perspective needed to actually bring the work to life.

BETTER TOGETHER

James brings the creative, product, and brand-side perspective. Jacki brings the operational, organizational, and customer-side perspective. Together, those strengths shape how Campbell Creative works: close to the team, invested in the details, and able to carry an idea from conversation through execution.
